TA’s Daniele De Vecchi meets the EU Commissioner for SMEs

As a former winner of a Copernicus Masters competition and Copernicus Incubator grant (see our previous newspieces), our colleague Daniele De Vecchi was invited to attend the Copernicus Masters Awards Ceremony held in Marseille, 4-5 December 2018. During the event, an informal meeting was organised by the management with Elżbieta Bieńkowska, European Commissioner for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs for a selected group of participants. The meeting was held on the afternoon of the 4th December, and aimed to sensing the views of young entrepreneurs involved in Copernicus-related business; it was also a great chance for the latter to suggest ideas and share clues about how to increase the effectiveness of the Copernicus programme in generating European value and European jobs. Our colleague Daniele was among those invited, and was glad to share his lessons-learnt from the Copernicus-based success stories at TA.
